HOW TO USE

STEP 1:

Go to the Reports tab in the Wingman Pilot Logbook app

STEP 2:

Choose the type of report you want

– For logbook reports, switch to the ‘Logbooks’ tab, select the start and end dates, choose your logbook format (e.g., Jeppesen, EASA, IndiGo)

– For CA39 summaries, switch to the ‘Summaries’ tab, pick your date range and the type of summary (Yearly, Monthly, Aircraft-wise)

STEP 3:

Click "Get Report" and watch your report get generated instantly.

Q: Can Wingman Pilot Logbook add a new export format on request?
A: Yes. If your airline or authority uses a unique format, email support. We can add custom templates upon verification.

Q: Are these export formats accepted by FAA, EASA, or GCAA authorities?
A: Yes. Wingman Pilot Logbook includes templates specifically formatted for FAA (Jeppesen 14-row, Sterling), EASA (FCL, Jeppesen EASA), and GCAA (Jeppesen GCAA). Pilots have used these formats for checkrides, ATPL renewals, and airline audits successfully.

 

Q: Can I generate logbooks for simulator hours separately?
A: Absolutely. Wingman Pilot Logbook provides dedicated simulator logbook formats, allowing you to export device-based training entries without mixing them into regular flights.


Q: How do I generate summaries for license renewals like CA39 or EASA audits?
A: Use the “Summaries” tab under Reports. You can generate summaries by year, month, or aircraft—exactly what most regulators and airlines ask for.


Q: What if I switch airlines or authorities? Will I need to re-log data?
A: No. Your data remains untouched. You can re-export in any supported format—Jeppesen, GCAA, EASA, etc.—without re-entering anything.


Q: Can I include my carry forward totals and type-specific breakdowns?
A: Yes. Wingman Pilot Logbook pulls all totals and lets you configure summaries including PIC/SIC/Night/IFR/type-specific hours.


Q: Do I need internet access to generate reports?
A: Yes. Since reports are generated server-side using your synced data, an active connection is required.


Q: Are the Excel and CSV versions editable?
A: Fully. You can open them in Google Sheets, Excel, or Numbers to customize, analyze, or store locally.


Q: Will it work on mobile and desktop?
A: Yes. The reporting feature is available on both platforms with the same export formats.
