FEATURE OVERVIEW

With AirRoster, you can add friends, share rosters, and see who’s flying where— all within the app.

Whether you're planning a layover meet-up, looking to swap duties, or just keeping tabs on your batchmates, this feature keeps everyone connected -without ever asking, “What’s your next sector?”

HOW IT WORKS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: Can I see my friend’s full roster details?
A: You’ll see sector overview info (dates, destinations, duty type)—not private notes or edits.

Q2: Can my friends see my roster without approval?
A: No. Friend access is strictly opt-in. You must approve each request.

Q3: Can I add friends from other airlines?
A: Yes, as long as both crew members are from airlines supported by AirRoster.

Q4: What if I want to revoke access later?
A: You can unfriend anytime, and access will be removed instantly.

Q5: Can I get alerts when a friend is on the same layover or base?
A: Not yet, but it’s on our roadmap. For now, use the overview to manually check.

Q6: How many friends can I add?
A: There’s no limit. Add as many crew members as you like.

Q7: Is my schedule shared automatically?
A: No. Roster visibility begins only after you accept a request.

Q8: Can I use this for swapping flights?
A: While AirRoster doesn’t process swaps, it helps identify overlap for coordination.

Q9: Will my airline know I’m sharing my roster?
A: No. This is a peer-to-peer feature, handled entirely within the app.

Q10: Can I see which friends are on reserve or off?
A: Yes. Duty types are visible so you can tell who’s flying, resting, or on standby.
